Have you ever considered becoming part of something that will challenge and thrill you beyond your wildest dreams? Something that will stretch your faith in ways you never imagined? That's what life is like for a church-planting team.

God sent his disciples out in pairs for a reason, and after several years as a home missionary in Denver, I understand the benefits. As a home missionary, my family and I have seen God move in amazing ways, and the best is still to come.

God has given Rangeview Free Will Baptist Church a vision to reach the lost in the Denver metropolitan area. This winter, our church moved from an older part of town to a vibrant, growing area where a quarter of a million cars drive by our storefront church each week! The building is ours every day of the week. We have state of the art audio and video projection equipment, and we broadcast our Sunday worship service over the internet each week. God has done incredible things, but He has more for us to accomplish. 

We are ready to take this work to the next level. The challenge before us is larger than any we have ever tried to tackle before now. Exciting things are happening, and new dreams are unfolding right before our eyes. As a result, it has become evident that we are lacking in one crucial area—an associate partner to help me in the work.

In recent years, Home Missions has begun to realize the value of church-planting teams—Randy Ledbetter and Scott Warren in Utah, Tommy Jones and Nate Altom in Pennsylvania, Dana Booth and Jim Martin in New York, and David Sexton and Marc Neppl in Virginia, to name a few.

In the past, we thought we had secured partners to help us in the work, but those leads have gone cold. God has other ideas. Perhaps He is speaking to you as you read this. Has God been dealing with your heart, but you are unsure of where He is leading?

Denver needs churches badly. Rangeview is the only Free Will Baptist church within the Denver metropolitan area. Yet the community around the church has over 100,000 families within a five-mile radius. Five miles! Thousands more need to be reached.

Young families seek a nurturing children's ministry while middle-aged families with teens crave solid, Bible-based learning for their young sons and daughters. Our families have already done much of the “sweat equity” for this church to thrive. The harvest is ready, but we need help in the field. Will you answer God's call?
