THE HAND OF GOD is upon the ministry of George and Kathy Lemelin who minister to the Ojibwa tribe in Ogema, Minnesota. My heart was deeply burdened when I visited the reservation, and the Lemelins, shared their hopes and aspirations for reaching these needy souls. They are a people held in bondage and great darkness by our enemy. Pray with us that the power of Satan will be broken, and the message of salvation will have life changing results among the men, women, and children of the Ojibwa.
George, Kathy, and their children have a tremendous love for these native people. Just recently they had Family Week at the church. George spent four days preaching on the needs of families. The reservation is filled with broken marriages and lives shattered by alcohol, drugs, and demonic oppression. The attendance in these services was phenomenal with 41 average and 64 as a high attendance.
Free Will Baptists have a major opportunity to impact the Northern Tribes of America on these reservations among the lakes. Our missionaries are asking us to help them purchase the church building they are meeting in at the present. For approximately $10,000, they can purchase the land and the building. We are asking our Free Will Baptists to reach out to this Native Tribe with the purchase of this facility.
Please send your gift to the Home Missions Department earmarked “White Earth Church.” Brother George has long range plans to build church and school facilities on the 37 acres recently purchased for $20,000.
We have a window of opportunity. We must not miss it!! Help our missionaries have victory at the White Earth Reservation for the Ojibwa People.
